What’s #trending // Beauty trends MAY ’17

hi everyone welcome back to what's trending my solar shampoo is a thing but that's not the only hair transit sort of be used this month so make sure you stick around let's check out what's trending for May so the first hair trend that I want to talk about is space buns as you can see I've attempted them myself it's a hairstyle that we've been seeing heaps of lately particularly on social media and Instagram at Coachella in particular lots of celebrities wearing different versions half-up half-down styles with glitter in the roots even braids and collapse kind of incorporators and the thing that I really like about this hairstyle is that for an occasion like festival or even if you're going camping they're a really easy way to just get your hair up off your face and they look really cute at the same time if so they're a little bit too cutesy a bit childish for your liking you can wear them at the nape of the neck so just kind of lower down and also to skip Twitter and any of the other kind of cutesy decorations holographic colors are having a huge moment in the beauty world right now we're seeing holographic hair colors all over Instagram I think they're magical although they're probably best left to the professionals holographic makeup as well Kat Von D brought out a new palette and there are heaps of other brands doing them and then there's Australia's very own Frank body scrubs who brought out a shimmer scrub that's fine and completely viral online and it's in this gorgeous holographic packaging and it also leaves a slight shimmer on the skin so it'd be stabbed to use before a night out but if you're kind of a bit intimidated by this trend still want to give it a go I would recommend nail polish because you can kind of rock holographic nails in a kind of subtle and really hit way without going kind of crazy rose board my solar water is one of my all-time favorite skin care products so you can imagine my excitement when I heard that my Stella shampoo is a thing Karis boss has brought one out in Australia and there are a couple of other brands Child's Worthington and I think Redken who will hopefully bring them out here soon as well and basically they work in the same way my fella water so they contain a substance called my cell which attached to the dirt oil particles in your hair and really gently remove them so you're getting the cleanest air possible and without causing any damage to your hair whatsoever I think you know if the girls that have color treated hair or very damaged hair this is going to be the Chancellor for you so cassis is the latest trendy VD ingredient that we're seen in skin care and also hair care formulas at the moment but don't write this one off is a gimmick because there is actually a benefit to it without getting through science beyond you cassis is a water storage plant which means that it contains high levels of amino acids such as glutamine which is incredibly hydrating to your skin and also nourishing for your hair our hair editor Astrid is actually obsessed with the Armco texturizing shampoo at the moment that one contains casters but there are heaps of other products on the market Stella runs those also got a shampoo heals a lot of face mist as well and the other thing that I really think is fantastic about these products is the packaging is so gorgeous it's usually nature inspired sort of look beautiful in your bathroom so for all of our favorite beauty trends for May what did you think about them do you have a favorite let me know in the comment section below I'd love to hear from you and also don't forget to hit subscribe this is a monthly thing so you'll get that notification next month and it means you'll be able to stay on top of all of the latest beauty trends all the time.
